Tom began his professional career at Reber Corporation in 1972 as a qualified plan administrator. His duties included the administration of all types of qualified plans including Defined Benefit, Money Purchase Pension and Profit Sharing plans.
Tom obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 1977 and became part- owner of Reber in 1979. In 1981, the firm's name was changed to Reber Seitz Company, at which time Tom was named President of the firm.
In 1985, Tom acquired Pension Corporation of America®, which was originally established in 1977. Since the acquisition, Pension Corporation of America® has grown to be one of the largest employee benefit firms in Southwestern Ohio.
Tom graduated from the University of Cincinnati where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Accounting. He holds his Investment Company and Variable Products Representative licenses, General Securities License Series 7, and The Uniform State Securities Series 63 License.
Tom was born and raised in Cincinnati and currently resides in Villa Hills, Kentucky with his wife, Karen; and enjoys spending time with their three grown children and two grandchildren.
Jim began his career in the financial services industry at USF&G Insurance Company. As a Regional Vice President and Registered Investment Representative, his responsibilities included coordinating annuity, insurance and mutual fund product sales efforts as a wholesaler to investment firms in Southern California.
Jim joined UNUM Insurance Company as a Retirement Plan Consultant in their Los Angeles, CA office. Responsibilities included implementing Group Retirement products and services for a wide variety of private and public sector employers located in Southern California and Arizona.
Since returning to Cincinnati, Jim has specialized in the design and implementation of qualified retirement plans for Pension Corporation of America®. As Director of Marketing, Jim’s focus was in the area of new business development, employee communication, and corporate consulting. Since becoming an Officer and Vice President of PCA, Jim’s duties expanded to include operations within the company. Jim has been an equity shareholder of Pension Corporation of America® for 17 years, and today he is one of five principals at PCA® and PCA Wealth Management™. In addition to managing many corporate relationships, he oversees business operations, including Corporate Branding Initiatives, Advertising, Business Partnerships and Social Media Marketing, as company President.
Jim received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Business. He currently holds Series 6 and Series 63 securities licenses. Jim was born and raised in Cincinnati and now resides in Villa Hills, Kentucky with his wife, Terry. Together they have three adult children, residing in Northern Kentucky and Dallas, Texas.
Zac began his career with Pension Corporation of America® in 1999. His initial responsibilities involved all aspects of plan administration. Zac later moved into the investment and marketing department. Among his duties are investment consulting and research, client relations and employee education. Zac also manages the individual investment accounts at Pension Corporation of America®. Zac became an equity shareholder of Pension Corporation of America® in 2011.
Zac earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) designation in 2006. Zac graduated from Hanover College where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Business Administration. Zac received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Xavier University in 2003. He currently holds Series 7 General Securities License, Series 63 Uniform State Securities License, and Series 24 General Securities Principal License.
Zac was born and raised in Cincinnati and now resides in Anderson, Ohio with his wife, Amy, and their three children.
Mark began his professional career at Hibbard Brown and Company as a Stock Broker in 1988. His initial responsibilities included, establishing individual investment accounts by offering issues of stocks and bonds, as well as marketing mutual funds.
In 1990, Mark joined Mutual of New York as a Registered Representative. His primary focus was in the area of Group Insurance and Retirement benefits. His responsibilities included handling all facets of group employee benefits. Mark joined S.G. Donahue & Company, Inc. in 1991 as a Pension Representative. His primary role was to develop group retirement plan business and to maintain the relationship with the client through ongoing employer and employee communications. Mark became associated with Pension Corporation of America® in 2001 as Manager of Pension Marketing and is currently Director of Investment Services. His duties include pension marketing, client relations, investment consulting and employee education.
Mark graduated from Indiana University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics. He holds his Investment Company and Variable Products Representative licenses, along with Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses. Mark also holds the Series 65 Registered Investment Advisor Representative License. He has attained his Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) designations through the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, as well as his Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) designation through the Institute of Business and Finance. Recently, Mark attained his Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation.
Mark resides in Loveland, Ohio with his wife, Joann, and their four children.
Gina began her career with Pension Corporation of America in 1994. Her initial responsibilities involved maintaining the front office, managing client calls and accounts. Gina later moved into the retirement plan services department and is now the Director of Operations. Gina oversees the day-to-day plan administration procedures, assists in developing and educating employees, maintains our client base, and ensures excellent customer service.
Gina earned her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Southern Ohio College in 1996. Gina currently holds a Qualified 401(k) Administrators (QKA) designation. Gina is actively involved in the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), and has been on the Board of Directors for the Greater Cincinnati Chapter for 15 years.
Gina was born and raised in Southern California and now resides in Northern Kentucky with her husband John. Together they have three adult children residing in Northern Kentucky, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Wheeling, West Virginia.
Seth is the Director of Retirement Plan Consulting and Chief Compliance Officer for Pension Corporation of America® (PCA) located in Cincinnati, OH. Seth began his career focusing initially on the regulatory compliance and legal aspects of retirement plan administration. While he still provides consulting services in those key areas, his primary responsibilities have since shifted to investment analysis, financial advising, and employee education.
Seth is currently on the Board of Directors for the Southwestern Ohio chapter of the Financial Planning Association, serving as President in 2017 and Chairman in 2018. In addition, he is currently an Adjunct Professor for the University of Cincinnati’s Linder College of Business, teaching a course on retirement planning and employee benefits. Seth also spent many years serving on the Board of Directors for the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the American Retirement Association.
Seth became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional (CFP) in 2013. Through the American Retirement Association, Seth earned his Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) and Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) designations in 2014 and 2017, respectively. He received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Xavier University in 2011. He currently holds a Series 65 securities license. Seth was born and raised in Cincinnati and now resides in West Chester, Ohio with his wife Danielle, son Colton, and daughter Brynn.
Mark interned at Smith Barney through his Xavier University mentor program in 2006, began full-time financial advising with AG Edwards/Wells Fargo Advisors downtown Cincinnati in 2007, and then hired on at his current position with PCA® in September of 2010.
Mark has earned the Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM, CRPC®, designation from the College of Financial Planning. The Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) is offered through the College For Financial Planning and is obtained through the successful completion of a course of study and examination encompassing pre-and post- retirement needs, asset management, estate planning and the entire retirement planning process. Designees renew their designation through Continuing Education credits, reaffirming adherence to Standards of Professional Conduct and complying with self-disclosure requirements.Mark became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional (CFP) in 2015. Mark is an alumnus of Cincinnati’s Xavier University where he earned a bachelor’s degree with a focus in finance and entrepreneurial studies. He played NCAA Division I baseball at Xavier for four years and then competed professionally for one year on the Florence Freedom which is a pro baseball team in the Frontier League’s East Division. Mark and his wife, Allie, and their two kids, Findlay and Graden, currently reside in Erlanger, KY. They are active in their community. Mark volunteers at Crossroads Church's Kids Club and at City Link located downtown Cincinnati. Mark is a mentor at Xavier University which entails advising a current finance student throughout his or her time at Xavier. He has also lead the “Pick Your Charity” golf outing for over 10 years which has raised thousands for local charities.
Justin began his career with Pension Corporation of America® in 2002. Since that time he has held positions as an Associate, Registered Representative, and Investment Advisor Representative. Justin’s focus is on sales and marketing, individual account management, financial planning, group investment services, and retirement plan design. Justin became an equity shareholder of Pension Corporation of America in 2015.
Justin graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University in 2006. He currently holds the Series 7 General Securities License, Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination, Series 63 Uniform State Securities License, as well as Life & Health state insurance licenses. Justin obtained his Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) designation through the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries in 2013 and the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP®, through the CFP Board of Standards, Inc. was achieved by Justin in 2015.
Certfied Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements. The QPFC Designation is the professional credential offered by ASPPA® for financial professionals who sell, advise, market or support qualified retirement plans. The program provides an understanding of general retirement planning concepts, terminology, distinctive features of qualified plans and the role of retirement plan professionals. Candidates must pass a two part examination as well as meet additional prerequisites. Continuing Education credits as well as annual membership fees are required to retain credentials.
Justin is a lifelong resident of Northern Kentucky, where he now resides with his son.
Tim O’Conner is an Investment Advisor Representative at Pension Corporation of America® (PCA) located in Eden Park. Pension Corporation of America® (PCA) is a Registered Investment Advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Tim puts an emphasis on providing both comprehensive and personalized strategies to his clients. At PCA®, the focus is on asset allocation, using both passive and active management styles to best reach the client’s personal goals. Once a long term investment plan is established, we commit to making sure you understand how our recommendations fit into your overall strategy.
Tim first interned at Pension Corporation of America® over the summer of 2015, while completing his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Xavier University. Upon completion of his internship, Tim was asked to work as a co-op while finishing his MBA at XU. As an intern and co-op, Tim was exposed to a wide array of activities at Pension Corporation of America and gained an immense amount of knowledge about the industry. Tim completed his MBA in fifteen months and started full time in December of 2015. Tim passed his Series 65 licensing exam with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in April of 2016. Prior to attending Xavier University for his MBA, Tim earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University. While attending Indiana University, Tim played one year of football and three years of baseball. As a member of the Indiana University baseball team, Tim won four Big Ten championships, while also being a four time Academic All-Big Ten selection. Tim is also a 2010 graduate of Elder High School and a member of the Elder Young Alumni Group as well as the Elder Businessmen’s Association.
Tim earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP®, through the CFP Board of Standards, Inc. Tim met the demanding professional standard and agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence when dealing with clients. Mary Jo Viox, Director of Office Operations for Pension Corporation of America® oversees Financial Operations, Human Resources, Payroll, and General Business Operations. With over 30 years as an accomplished Administrative Manager, Mary Jo has contributed to PCA’s growth and success.
Managing PCA’s corporate relocation and facilities, personnel growth, enhanced employee benefit programs, technology advancements, and day-to-day business operations, Mary Jo has contributed to the enhancement of PCA by providing excellent service the PCA team and to its clients. A PCA employee since 2001, Mary Jo has been instrumental in the success of PCA’s HR Programs, corporate branding initiatives, advertising, vendor relationships, and business financial operations. Mary Jo believes in the PCA Team of Professionals who continually provides their clients top tier customer service on a personal level.
Mary Jo earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree, in Marketing, from Northern Kentucky University. Her first interest was in the travel industry. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Aviation Administration, received from Northern Kentucky University. A longtime resident of Cincinnati, Ohio (best side, west side), Mary Jo enjoys spending time with her high school sweetheart and husband, Tim, their 3 adult children, and adorable grandson.
